Using animals as a source of power to make your life easier was since the middle ages a very common thing to do. One of those animals was the over 1,000 kg dray horse which can pull four times its own weight and was perfect to help out in and around breweries.

As a taproom with multiple bars you would expect a few broken beer glasses by the end of the day. Naturally, they get recycled but is there something even better we can do with them? In spring 2018 we decided not just to throw those broken pieces out but to make something special. So we got creative and repurposed the waste product into something truly unique at our second ever location: A church from 1825 with an underground microbrewery in Mayfair.
